M.I.K.E., PUSH, PLASTIC BOY to jsou tři nejzásadnější projekty, za kterými stojí belgický DJ a světově uznávaný producent Mike Dierickx allias M.I.K.E. Od roku 1992 M.I.K.E. vydal více než 150 nahrávek pod různými uměleckými jmény. Svůj první track vydal Mike v 18 letech pod přezdívkou Vision Act a pak už se nabídky jen hrnuly. V roce 1998 vydal pod projektem PUSH hit Universal Nation, který se stal jedním z nejprodávanějších tanečních singlů všech dob.

Dále následovaly hity jako Strange World a The Legacy. Tyto úspěchy vyústily v nabídky na remixy pro Olivera Lieba, Mobyho, Sinead O'Connor, Maura Picotta nebo Bomfunk MC's a dokonce i na zkomponování soundtracku k filmu Groove. M.I.K.E. je jeden z nejlepších DJs světa a jeho jméno nechybí na akcích jako Godskitchen a Gatecrasher v Británii, Fura a Vel Farre v Japonsku, Trance Energy v Holandsku, Limelight v USA nebo třeba Love Parade v Berlíně. M.I.K.E. předvede v Mecce svou klubovou premiéru v ČR. Společně s Mikem zahraje na Musice mladé české duo Shape & Dusk, které má za sebou několik djských ale i producentských úspěchů. Z produkce připomeňme třeba Shape and Dusk remix singlu „The black hole in my heart" od producenta Bjorna Fogelberga, který se udržel několik týdnů na druhém místě prestižního žebříčku Juno Records. Letos v létě vyšla na belgickém labelu Bonzai Trance Progressive novinka z jejich vlastní produkce s názvem "Continuum". Shape and Dusk se vám představí poprvé v Mecce na akci Musica. No a na MUSICE nemůže chybět její resident - DJ Bon Finix. Krom main stage je na vás v Mecce připravena i druhá chill-out stage, kde vás budou bavit rezidenti nového pražského afterklubu Lax - DJs MarcoS, Subgate a Thonic.

M.I.K.E., PUSH, PLASTIC BOY are just some of the project aliases used by Belgian DJ and world renowned producer Mike Dierickx alias M.I.K.E. This global dance music icon has enriched the scene with numerous productions. Since 1992 he has released over 150 records under various artist names. Mike released his first track at the age of 18 under the alias Vision Act and from that point on the offers came rolling in. In 1998 he released the PUSH project hit Universal Nation, which went on to become one of the best selling dance singles ever. More hits followed like Strange World and The Legacy. Mike’s ongoing success gained him offers to remix names such Oliver Lieb, Moby, Sinead O'Connor, Mauro Picotto or the Bomfunk MC's, and even the task to compose the soundtrack of the film Groove. M.I.K.E. is considered as one of the best DJs of the planet and has performed on events such as Godskitchen and Gatecrasher in the UK, Fura and Vel Farre in Japan, Trance Energy in Holland, Limelight in the USA or at the Love Parade in Berlin. The 11th of October will see M.I.K.E.’s his debut club appearance in the Czech Republic at Musica @ Mecca. Joining M.I.K.E. at this event will be two young Czech DJs and producers that go by the name of Shape & Dusk. The Shape & Dusk remix of Bjorn Fobelberg’s single “The Black Hole In My Heart” was featured in the Juno Records sales chart for a number of weeks, reaching the #2 position, and was supported by Matt Darey, Deepsky, Clubbervision, or Moshic. This summer, their new progressive-trance production “Continuum” was released on the Belgium label Bonzai. Musica resident DJ Bon Finix will be joining in the action and will warm-up the dancefloor for the main guest. The downstairs lounge will be brought alive by DJs from Prague’s new after-hours club Lax. DJs MarcoS, Subgate a Thonic will take on the decks.
